This anterior view of a nematode specimen opens the SEPS digital collection. It was selected not only for its diagnostic interest, but because it captures the central purpose of SEPS: making parasite morphology visible, interpretable, and enduring.
The public collection will pair gallery-quality imagery with scientific versions that retain scale, annotation, preparation details, host context, and voucher linkage whenever available.

The long-term SEPS collection will organize whole specimens, diagnostic structures, host associations, preparation methods, and evidence status into permanent specimen pages.
